indices
Indices for texts are a very important technology. How to show them is also an art. I half remember reading that Pliny the Elder, on his Historia Naturalis invented the ‘genre’, together with the bibliography, but that is something to check. Anyhow, here some of my findings on the subject, chased in part in order to fix the index for this my weblog.
